I haven't exactly had an easy life lately my dad is an alcoholic who has ruined his mind by drinking his thoughts away, as a result my parents are finally getting a divorce,(which my brother and I have thought should of happened a long time ago).Anyways my mom works hard to keep everything together even though before the divorce, to add onto the credit card debt my dad got a DUI which in court fees and auto repair has driven us further into debt. According to the Washington state law a couple who is separating is forced to split everything evenly 50/50 which I don't know about you but in some cases this isn't exactly fair, such as in mine and my moms case. This wouldn't be so bad if before the split he hadn't built up such a large amount of debt. By the way the 50/50 doesn't apply to debt so for all I know my dad will be free and clear except of course for the 250 a month he has to pay for child support but like that will help. Anyways we might be forced into bankruptcy. The meaning of this blog is I need help getting clothes for school because my mom could manage but If I could get some help or advice it would mean the world to me.
